Rovers will host Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield United in a pre-season friendly in preparation for the 2018/19 season.
The Blades will make the short trip across South Yorkshire on Friday July 27, with a 7:45pm kick-off at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The game will be the first time the two sides have met since they were both in League One during the 2015/16 season, and the game will also see Ben Whiteman come up against his former club for the first time since making a permanent move to the Keepmoat from the Blades back in January.
