This weekend as part of the four-day extravaganza, teams from across the UK and Europe will compete in the second annual Kids Cup, which will be the centrepiece of a Festival of Sport held at the Keepmoat Stadium this May Bank Holiday weekend (May 25-28).
Close to 100 junior teams will be participating in the Kids Cup, with grassroots sides from Doncaster and beyond having the opportunity to play against the club’s academy teams in addition to the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Leicester City and European giants, Benfica.
The four-day Festival of Sport weekend also includes the Doncaster Business for the Community Cup, the inaugural Club Doncaster Foundation Awards and a unique three-a-side tournament, hosted in partnership with Scawthorpe Scorpions.
Tickets for admission to watch the tournament are £2.50 per day, activities will start at 8am with the finals of the tournament at 8.30pm. Re-entry will be allowed on the same day.
