Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor says he has a strong relationship with fellow shot-stopper Marko Marosi.
The pair have battled against each other all season for a starting position within the Rovers team, and Lawlor says they have supported each other a lot throughout the campaign.
“It is always nice to play, the manager made a decision to take me out of the team and I respect that, Marko came in and did really well to be fair to him,” he said.
“We have worked really hard together over the course of the season, but I am happy to be back in the side, I support everyone when I am not in the side, I am a team player.
“Marko has asked me about certain teams I have played against and I have gave him some tips, and I’ll always be there for him whenever he needs my help and I know that he’s the same with me.”
Rovers face Wigan Athletic on the final day of the 2017/18 Sky Bet League One season, and Lawlor wants the side to push on and finish higher next season.
“It is a big club here, we have a quality fanbase behind us and we don’t want to be a mid-table team, we have the quality within the team and also with the players the manager has brought in to finish higher in the league,” he added.
“We have high ambitions and so does the manager, everybody knows and can see that, our aim is to push on and finish as high as possible next season.
“We have shown how good we can be at times this season, especially in the early part of the campaign where we went to Blackburn and beat them, so we are not too far away.”
