John Schofield wants his Development side to learn from Tuesday’s defeat to York City reserves when they complete their season at Morecambe on Thursday afternoon.
A young Rovers side will head to the Globe Arena, and coach Schofield wants to see more flexibility from his side.
“Against York we were brilliant in the first half, nice and fluid and had a deserved lead at the break,” he said.
“But the gaffer asked the players to try switching to a new formation after five minutes of the second half, and that was where they lost some of their fluidity.
“That was disappointing, but the whole point of the Development team is to bring the players on and they will all learn from the second half. ”
