Paul Stancliffe has congratulated five of his graduates who have signed professional deals with the club over the course of this season.
Danny Amos has been joined by U18s team-mates Morgan James, Cody Prior, Jacob Fletcher and James Morris in signing professional terms at the Keepmoat, and Stancliffe has been thrilled to see their progress.
“I’m delighted, this is why they come here, and this is what we work for and the five that have achieved this deserve it, two or three have been unfortunate to miss out but they come in knowing we’re not going to get 100% of them signing pro deals, but to get 50% of them is great," he said.
"They’ve worked hard at it and credit to the gaffer for having faith in them, they’ve still got a long way to go but the boys and parents are happy and so they should be.
“I think it’s an extra incentive for people to invest in the club, buy season tickets to hopefully see the quality of youth players possibly break into the first-team."
