Further sports facilities are now available at the Club Doncaster Sports Village thanks to the continuing partnership with XP School East.
The new sports hall and outdoor courts can now be hired by sports clubs and members of the public through Club Doncaster, in addition to the existing full size 3G and five-a-side pitches already on offer.
Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: "I'm really pleased that we can now offer a wider range of facilities at our site, and we've had some really encouraging discussions with local sports organisations and existing partners such as the athletics club and Mini Kicks whom we already have a relationship with.
"This is another step in the growth of Club Doncaster, as we want to be the home of both elite and grassroots sports in the area."
The partnership widens the range of activity taking place at an already busy Sports Village.
Gavin said: "I joined our chairman David Blunt and other club staff in taking a look around the new leisure centre facilities, alongside Gwyn ap Harri from the XP schools. This is yet another example of where the Club Doncaster model - expanding sporting opportunities for people in the area, plus opening up new revenue streams - can really benefit us.
"This really expands the number of sports we can accommodate. The outside courts can be used for tennis or netball, while the inside sports hall can be configured for basketball, volleyball, futsal or other sports."
Gwyn ap Harri, chief executive of XP School Trust added, "We are very proud to continue our partnership work with Club Doncaster in offering our fantastic new facilities to the community of Doncaster. I would also like to thank Doncaster Council for their considerable help in making this happen."
