Grant McCann wants his side to get on the front foot against Blackpool at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night.

Rovers go into the game unbeaten in their past three matches in all competitions, and the manager feels they have turned a corner in recent weeks.

He said: “The performance levels have been good throughout the campaign, we’ve managed to score the first goal in our past couple of games which have made a difference.

“I made a point of targeting maximum points in our home games, it’s our last league game for almost two weeks so we want to get the win.

“We want to get on the front foot and cause them problems, we’ve spoken a lot about our home form and want to create a bit of a fortress.”

Just two points separate the sides in the Sky Bet League One table, and McCann has been impressed with the Seasiders’ form in recent weeks.

He added: “They’re well organised and Terry McPhillips has done a really good job since getting the job, they have some experienced players and some big bodies in their team.

“The boys have got full belief in the way that we’re playing, there is still more to come from them and we’re probably still missing that lucky break.

“It will be a test in all areas for us, but we have to make sure we reach the levels we have done in the past few games.”

Rovers return to the Keepmoat Stadium to take on Blackpool on Tuesday 27 November. Tickets are available from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
