Full-back Danny Amos has been called up to the Northern Ireland U21 squad for their upcoming fixtures against Iceland and Slovakia.

This is the second time the academy graduate has received the call up, but missed out due to injury last time around.

The 18-year-old will join up with Ian Baraclough's on Sunday October 7. They will take on Iceland U21s in Reykjavik on October 11 and Slovakia U21s in the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on October 16.

Baraclough said: "It was difficult picking a squad. There are players missing out who have been part of previous squads in this campaign, however all the players know you have to be at the top of your game now to be selected.

"Playing against Slovakia at the National Football Stadium in the second game will also help the players. It will be an opportunity for them to show what they can do. With young players like Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Jamal Lewis and Gavin Whyte getting into the senior panel they know they have a chance to follow in their footsteps."

Rovers return to the Keepmoat Stadium to take on Fleetwood Town on Saturday October 6, you can purchase tickets from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
