Myron Gibbons says he is full of confidence after netting a hat-trick in the U18s' win over Rotherham United.
The forward believes the relationship between himself and the players around him is continuing to develop as the season goes on.
He said: “It was some performance from us, the manager said at half-time we were doing well on and off the ball, and it meant a lot to hear that.
“I’m happy to get my hat-trick, especially after not scoring for a while so that makes it really good for me. In pre-season it was good to get in and around the first-team as that gave me an incentive to push on.
“I’m now buzzing for the FA Youth Cup game, especially after what happened last year, hopefully we can get further than we did last year.”
