U18s captain AJ Greaves is confident his side will put on a good performance when they take on Rochdale in one of the most exciting ties of the FA Youth Cup first round on Tuesday evening.
Rovers sit top of the Youth Alliance north-east table, with the Dale youngsters second in the north-west equivalent.
For many of the Rovers youngsters it will be the first time they have played on the main Keepmoat Stadium pitch, with their home games usually taking place at Cantley Park.
Greaves said: “I’m looking forward to the game as we’ve been on a good run with the squad to make the top of the table spot out own.
“They’re a great set of lads to play with and we’re going to put in a really good performance to get us into the second round.”
Tickets for Tuesday evening cost £3, with concessions and Silver Membership holders able to gain entry for just £1.
