Grant McCann praised his staff and players after winning the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for September.
McCann was rewarded after Rovers went through the month unbeaten, a run which saw them climb to third in the table.
He said: “I’m pleased for my staff and my players, it shows the level of consistency we’ve shown at the start of the season.
“Nobody is getting carried away as you can go from being in form to struggling to pick up results, we want to keep doing what we’ve been doing.
“Our aim is to be competitive in every game, and try to do the best we can because we know we can be a real threat.”
McCann’s award was added to after John Marquis was named as Player of the Month, following five goals in as many league games.
He added: “It’s great for John to pick up an award, he’s been outstanding and deserves it with the amount of goals he has scored.
“He’s got nine goals now which is a good record, he’s hungry for more though and we need to keep making chances for him.
“I want my players to be striving to pick up awards through the season and at the end of the year as well because it reflects well on everyone involved.”
