Rovers to run mental health social cafe

5 October 2018

Rovers supporters who are interested in learning about mental health are invited to attend a social cafe taking place at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The event, run in partnership with Doncaster Mind, runs from 1.30-3.30pm on Monday October 8 in the the Alick's Bar.

It will provide an informal opportunity to speak about mental health and get helpful advice.

Club Doncaster’s group head of communications Shaun Lockwood said: “This is a chance for people to come down and have a cup of tea or slice of cake, and just have a chat.

“Everything will be very relaxed and they can get a bit of advice if needed, or just relax and enjoy the cake.

“As a club we treat mental health really importantly, and later in the week to mark Mental Health Day will be unveiling our new supporter-designed third kit after a process which included positive mental health messages for young people.”
