Paul Stancliffe is relishing Tuesday's FA Youth Cup clash (7pm) which pitches two of the best Category Three sides in northern England against each other.

Stancliffe's U18 side are top of the 13-team eastern section of the FA Youth Alliance, with visitors second in the western table which has 14 sides in.

Last week's 5-2 win at South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United maintained Rovers' impressive form, and set them up nicely for Tuesday's clash at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Stancliffe said: "It should be a good game against Rochdale. I'm not one to really look at leagues early on, but I did look at theirs to see where they were, and they are right up there.

"Rochdale have always had a good team and they always try and play football correct, just like their first-team do, so hopefully it will be good game.

"It is a big game for the players, for them it's about controlling the nerves as it will be a big game for them."

Tickets for Tuesday evening cost £3, with concessions and Silver Membership holders able to gain entry for just £1. Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office on 01302 762576, by calling into the Keepmoat Stadium or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk. Free parking is available at the ground on the evening.
