Grant McCann says there will be no complacency from his Rovers side when they travel to face Plymouth Argyle this weekend.
Rovers have won their past three games, and lost just once so far in Sky Bet League One this season.
He said: “The group is grounded and they have a grounded manager, we’re taking nothing for granted as we’re only nine games in.
“We’ve got so many games still to come in league and cup, and we want to keep doing what we’re doing and improving along the way.
“I’ve had the question about complacency creeping in, but the boys know about the threats we’re up against and how we need to stop that.”
Rovers make the long trip to an Argyle side who are yet to taste victory in the 2018/19 campaign, but McCann believes they are a dangerous opponent on home soil.
He added: “Plymouth had a poor start last year, they were bottom after a few games but Derek Adams is a good manager and has done a great job there.
“They’ll improve and have too many good players for that not to happen, they are a very strong side at this level.
“The first goal will be massive, when you’re playing against a team who haven’t won it can be a big moment in the game.”
Rovers return to the Keepmoat Stadium to take on Fleetwood Town on Saturday October 6. Tickets are available from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk
