Grant McCann says Rovers supporters can help inspire the players as they head into a decisive final few games of the season.
Rovers have had an impressive home record this season, and with two of the three remaining Sky Bet League One games of the regular season to be played at the Keepmoat Stadium that could prove crucial if a sixth-placed finish is to be secured.
McCann said: "The boys will look forward to being back at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday. The boys relish being there, being in front of the home crowd.
"The fans have been exceptional this year, they've backed us to the hilt and we're in the top four for home form so this is an opportunity for us to get three points. We need get back to the standard we set when we won four in a row prior to Friday and we've got an opportunity to do that."
Should Rovers achieve their play-off ambition, McCann had one piece of good news about being the team in sixth.
He added: "Every time I've been in the play-offs as a player it's always been in sixth place and I've won all three – hopefully that's a nice little omen for us."
