Dean Whitestone is the man in-charge when Rovers travel to Bradford City on Saturday.

Whitestone is an extremely experienced official having taken charge of his first EFL match in October 2005, the match was a 0-0 draw between Notts County and Carlisle in Sky Bet League Two.

He first oversaw a Rovers match in 2007 when he was in-charge Rovers’ 2-1 away win at Swansea City. In that match, Whitestone awarded four yellow cards and one red.

He also handed out four yellows (but no reds) in the most recent Rovers match he officiated, a 1-0 away victory at Bristol Rovers in 2017.

The Northamptonshire-based official has overseen 33 matches in the current campaign awarding 96 yellow cards and three red cards.

Whitestone is assisted by Ian Smedley and Craig Taylor. Andy Haines is the fourth official.
