Max Watters scored a late winner as Rovers’ Development side beat Port Vale 4-3 at Cantley Park.
Rovers trailed twice in the game but pegged Vale back with two goals from the Trialist, before substitute Rieves Boocock made it 3-3 with a calm finish seven minutes from the end.
There was still time left for more drama, as Watters swept in a cross from the right to secure the points for John Schofield’s side.
