Sadlier: We're focused for these final games

Kieran Sadlier says Rovers will just focus on themselves as they look for victories in the final two games of the regular season which would secure a play-off place.

Rovers hold a three-point advantage over seventh-placed Peterborough United, and know wins over Oxford and Coventry City would almost certainly ensure participation in the end-of-season showdown for the final promotion place.

He said. "We cannot worry too much about other teams, just concentrate on winning the two games we have. We have got the talent in the team to go out and do that.

"We've got two games and just need to worry about ourselves, if we get six points we'll be in the play-offs and it's as simple as that."

Few people outside the club in the summer felt Rovers were realistic promotion challengers, and Sadlier is not surprised his team-mates have surpassed expectations to sit sixth in the Sky Bet League One table.

He added: "We deserve to be where we are, a lot of people wrote us off in the summer so we're exceeding expectations.

"But I've been impressed since the first day I came in, there're some talented players who are more than capable of playing in the Championship. When you enjoy your football you play well, and it's very enjoyable to play in this team."
