Supporters are invited to read SLO Dean Medcalf’s Away Guide to the Stadium of Light ahead of Friday’s trip to Sunderland.

This will be the first time Rovers travel to Stadium of Light, which became the home of the Black Cats in 1997. The match will be shown live on Sky Sports and will kick-off at 5.15pm.

Sunderland are yet to confirm whether tickets will be available on the day, so supporters are urged to purchase tickets from the Club Doncaster Box Office in advance. Tickets will come off sale at 4pm, Thursday April 18 – for ticket prices, please visit the Guide.

The guide provides information about the Retford supporters’ coaches including pick-up points, drop-off point at Sunderland and pick-up times.

There is no parking available at the stadium. Disabled spaces are available but need to be booked in advance. For additional information on how to pre-book a disabled space and for alternative parking, please visit the guide.

Those travelling by train are advised that – as the match is taking place on a Bank Holiday – there are a number of delays and maintenance work planned. The away guide details many of the planned delays and changes but supporters are urged to check up-to-date information on the day of travel.

The guide also provides information on where to drink near the stadium and offers a link through to Sunderland’s guide to the Stadium of Light.
