NCE Soccer visited the Keepmoat Stadium for a series of games against some of Rovers’ younger Academy age groups.
The organisation was designed to help aid the development of young American players. They offer opportunities for players between the ages of seven and 18.
The American group travelled across the North Atlantic Ocean to take on Rovers’ U11, U12 and U13 teams on Friday August 2.
NCE coach, and former Manchester United defender John Curtis commented on Twitter: “Thank you to Tony Mee and all the Rovers Academy staff for making us feel so welcome at the Keepmoat Stadium today.”
Next week will see a team from Florida jet over to the Keepmoat on Thursday August 8 at 5pm at Club Doncaster Sports Park.
