James Adcock will be the man in charge when Rovers welcome Fleetwood Town to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday August 17.

Adcock’s first full season in the EFL was the 2011/12 season but he did not take charge of a Rovers match until the following season - a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Chesterfield.

The Nottinghamshire official opened the current campaign with a draw between Sky Bet League Two Newport County and Mansfield Town handing out seven yellow cards and one red. He also oversaw Bolton Wanderers’ draw with Coventry City handing out five yellow cards.

The assistant referees will be Richard Wild and Robert Merchant. The fourth official is Elliott Swallow.

Up next for Rovers - we host Fleetwood Town in Sky Bet League One. Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk or in person from the Club Doncaster Box Office. New to Rovers - check out our first time fans guide.
