Cameron John says he is back at 100% fitness after returning to action for Rovers at Gillingham on Sunday.
The centre-back, on loan from Wolves, enjoyed pulling on a Rovers shirt for the first time since September.
He said: “I feel back at 100% now and ready to kick on for the rest of the season, it was frustrating to get injured but that’s part of football.
“I tried not to rush it and make sure I did all I could during my recovery, and hopefully that will stand me in good stead in the future.”
With a game coming up against Leicester City U21s in the Leasing.com Trophy on Wednesday, John says the focus is on a quick response from Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup loss at Priestfield.
He added: “The Gillingham defeat was a tough one to take, it was a good opportunity to get through but they were better than us on the day.
“It wasn’t the comeback I hoped to have, but it’s a learning curve for myself and the team as to how we respond to disappointment. We’ve got a game coming up quickly on Wednesday night and we’ll show a reaction there.”
