Darren Moore was pleased to see Niall Ennis come through his 45 minutes in Rovers U23s match against Walsall on Tuesday.
The striker hasn’t featured for Rovers since October and had been recovering with parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers until his return on Monday.
“I thought it was a good workout for everyone,” said Moore.
“Niall having 45 minutes, Joe having 60 minutes, Tom coming through 90 minutes – it’s all positive for us.
“We’ll assess Niall later in the week after his game, we’re looking for no reactions in terms of the injury and it will be about him and how he’s feeling.”
