Darren Moore wants his side to get back to what they are good at when they take on MK Dons in Sky Bet League One this weekend.

Having lost their last league game at Wycombe almost two weeks ago, the manager is hoping to see the type of football that was on show earlier on in the campaign.

He said: “We want to try and get back to the work rate and levels we’ve shown earlier on in the campaign and emphasise the things that we’ve done well.

“The good thing is that we’ve had plenty of time to look at where we haven’t been getting things right over the past few games.

“We haven’t had that consistency in games so far and that may be a reason for the drop in form, but we should get it now heading into the Christmas period.

Saturday’s visitors haven’t won a league game since September, but Moore believes they will be rejuvenated after Russell Martin’s recent appointment as manager.

He added: “They didn’t get off to the best of starts this season but they’ve got a new manager in now and they’ve improved recently.

“Russell Martin has got his own ideas and a new manager always has an impact when they go in and he had a good result on Tuesday night.

“They will have been working hard to turn things around recently and will be trying to put a run of wins together as we are.”
