Ollie Yates will be the man in-charge when Rovers welcome Leicester City U21s to the Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Yates has already taken charge of a Rovers match this season when he oversaw Rovers’ hard fought 0-0 draw at Portman Road in September. He handed out six yellow cards on that occasion with five of those going Rovers’ way. Brad Halliday, Ben Whiteman, Ben Sheaf, Reece James and James Coppinger all ended up in the book.
Wednesday’s game will be Yates’ 18th in the current campaign – he has so far handed out 51 yellow cards and four reds.
On Wednesday, he will be assisted by Anthony Da Costa and Steven Rushton. Aaron Jackson is the fourth official.
