Scott Oldham will be the man in charge when Rovers welcome MK Dons on Saturday.
Oldham was added to the National List of Referees in 2017 and has taken charge of two Rovers matches since his promotion both of which ended in victory for Rovers.
A 3-2 win over Rochdale in Sky Bet League One last October and Rovers home victory over Lincoln City in the Leasing.com Trophy earlier this season. Alfie May and Niall Ennis were booked in the match earlier this season.
So far this season, Oldham has handed out 53 yellow cards and one red.
He will be assisted by Paul Graham and Wayne Grunnill. Martin Woods is the fourth official.
