David Rock will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to face Peterborough United on Boxing day.
Rock took charge of a Rovers game as recently as October, when Darren Moore’s side beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
So far this season, he has taken charge of 15 matches in all competitions, handing out 42 yellow cards and three reds in the process.
He will be assisted by David Plowright and Declan Ford, the fourth official is Ian Smedley.
