Kieran Sadlier says the focus has been firmly on recovery as Rovers prepare to take on Sunderland in Sky Bet League One as part of the busy festive period.
With just a three day gap in between games, Sadlier believes momentum will see them through to face the Black Cats then get ready to face Oxford on New Year’s Day.
He said: “We’ve been in for recovery ahead of the Sunderland game, there will be no days off as it’s all about getting our bodies ready to go again.
“The gaffer will tweak a few things once he has had the time to review the Peterborough win and where we can improve in certain areas.
“We’ve got three home games on the bounce now which means we don’t have to travel and can rest our legs in between.”
