Rovers YDP took on the Doncaster Parkrun at Sandall Park on Saturday.
With a weekend free from scheduled fixtures, Academy players from the U13s-U16s teams joined keen runners (and some of their coaches) in freezing temperatures to take on the 5K challenge.
The boys represented the club impeccably and had a great time with one of the U15s team fighting off all competition to cross the finish line in first place.
The Parkrun showcases the Academy’s commitment to creating excellent young men, as well as excellent young footballers – any academy players and coaches unable to take part in the run, volunteered with the martialling of the race.
The Doncaster Parkrun takes place at Sandall Park every Saturday and starts at 9am.
