Rovers have exercised an option on midfielder Cody Prior to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.
The 19-year-old, who captains Rovers' Development side, has made three first-team appearances and been involved in matchday squads on further occasions.
He has also spent time on loan away from the Keepmoat Stadium, most recently spending a month at Nuneaton Borough.
