John Brooks will be the man in-charge on Saturday when Rovers travel to Scunthorpe United in Sky Bet League One.

Brooks’ first season as an official was 2014/15 where he took charge of 16 matches in the Football Conference.  He spent just two seasons at non-league before being fast-tracked to the EFL. In December 2017, he took charge of his first Championship match.

Brooks has taken charge of 26 games in the current campaign awarding 97 yellow cards and five red. Saturday will be the fourth League One match he has officiated this season as he mostly works in the Championship.

On the two previous occasions Brooks has taken charge of a Rovers match, the games have ended in 0-0 draws, the most recent of these was in May 2018 when Rovers faced AFC Wimbledon at Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night.

Brooks will be assisted by Robert Hyde and Sam Lewis. The fourth official is Andy Woolmer.

Rovers are back in action at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday March 2 when they host play-off rivals Charlton. Make sure you don't miss a moment by booking your place from the Club Doncaster Box Office on 01302 762576 or by going to tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
