Doncaster Rovers Academy are looking for 'home from home' placements for young players who need to live away from home to undertake their football training at the Club.
HR manager and head of safeguarding, Kirsty Cavanagh, is interested in hearing from people who are able to offer short and long term placements for players and trialists between the ages of 16 and 21 years.
There are a number of players from a wide variety of locations and background who need to live away from home to undertake their training. The Academy are looking to expand their host family scheme, particularly in the vicinity of the Cantley Park training ground, to ensure the ability to match each player to an appropriate family based on their needs.
The Academy are currently seeking fully supportive, inclusive placements within family homes and semi-independent accommodation offering access to separate living accommodation such as converted house areas or annexes.
A variable monthly fee is payable to the host family for the duration of the placement.
