Rovers have rejected a significant transfer bid for a player, with manager Grant McCann reiterating there is no pressure on him to sell anyone in his squad.
Rovers expect a quiet transfer deadline day and would not welcome any further interest in any players from other clubs.
McCann said: “The board rejected a significant seven-figure bid for one of our players, because we’re simply not interested in selling anyone we don’t want to.
“What the owners and I are interested in is getting promotion this season. Our focus is on getting into that top six, staying there and building on that to turn us into a Championship club next season.
“We have no need to sell anyone. The players are good enough, the club is financially secure and on a great footing, so our focus is on getting promotion and nothing else.”
Rovers will return to the Keepmoat Stadium on February 9 when they face Peterborough in Sky Bet League One. Tickets for this fixture can be purchased from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
