The kick-off for Rovers’ Sky Bet League One game at Scunthorpe United has been brought forward on police advice, while a new date has been agreed for the trip to Shrewsbury Town.
The match against Scunthorpe will now kick-off at Glanford Park at 1pm on Saturday February 23, rather than the original 3pm. The kick-off time has been brought forward at the express request of Humberside Police.
Having considered all of the relevant factors, Scunthorpe United determined that the sensible course of action based on police intelligence was to accept the request.
This will be the third time Rovers have faced the Iron this season, recording a 2-1 win at Glanford Park in the Carabao Cup in August before a 3-0 victory in the league in December at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The League One trip to Shrewsbury Town, which has to be moved due to both sides’ ongoing involvement in the Emirates FA Cup, has been rescheduled for Tuesday February 26 (7.45pm).
Rovers are in action at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday January 19. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here, in person at the Club Doncaster Box Office or by phoning 01302 762576.
