Young goalkeeper Louis Jones has said he is ready to kick on after earning a new 18-month deal at Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional deal in the 2016/17 season and has continued to develop in the years since.
"I'm buzzing to get this deal done. It's another opportunity to try and improve and get better. I get on well with everyone here so I'm looking forward to the next 18 months," he said.
"When a new manager comes in, it's like a clean slate. I always try and work as hard as I can and do the best I can because that's all you can do. I'm happy he's seen something in me. There are lots of variables so all I can do is work as hard as I can and see where I end up."
Jones was also quick to highlight the work of Rovers goalkeeper coach Paul Gerrard.
"He has a lot of faith in me, he sees something in me and all I can do is work hard and see where I end up," he added.
"There's a great buzz about the place at the moment. Everyone's pushing for high standards all the time so the training sessions are always brilliant and it creates a good work ethic.
"I think both Ian Lawlor and Marko Marosi are doing a brilliant job. I get on well with both of them and it's good to be around them. They help me improve so it's a good bond."
