Alan Young will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Fratton Park on Saturday.
This is Young’s first campaign as a professional referee having spent three seasons in the National League. He has refereed 24 matches this season handing out 102 yellow cards and three reds. Saturday will be Young's 11th match in Sky Bet League One.
Young has taken charge of one Rovers’ match which came as recently as December 22 when he oversaw Rovers 2-2 draw with Oxford United at the Keepmoat Stadium. He gave out six yellow cards in that game.
Young will be assisted by Thomas Ramsey and Paul Lister. The fourth official is Justin Amey.
Rovers will return to the Keepmoat Stadium on February 9 when they face Peterborough in Sky Bet League One. Tickets for this fixture can be purchased from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
