Rovers have completed the signing of Enfield Town defender Rian McLean on an 18-month contract.
The 20-year-old impressed manager Grant McCann during an extended trial period with the club earlier this season, and will go straight into John Schofield's Development squad.
He said: “I’m very happy to be given an opportunity to play for a club like Doncaster, it’s a great chance for me to prove myself.
“It was nice to play a few games for the Development side and be back in a professional environment after spending some time in non-league.
“I’ve had a few chats with the manager and he’s explained how he wants me to develop and push towards the first-team.”
