John Busby will be the man in charge when Rovers welcome Gillingham for the season opener on August 3.
Busby took charge of three Rovers matches in 2018/19 with all three finishing 4-0. However, not all of these results were in favour of Rovers - the matches were Luton Town away, Fleetwood Town at home and Bristol Rovers away.
The Oxfordshire born referee is in his fourth season as an EFL official and will be assisted by Alix Pashley and Billy Smallwood. The fourth official will be Declan Bourne.
