The 2019/20 season is the 140th season of Doncaster Rovers Football Club and to celebrate the club has created a brand-new section of the website so that supporters can research more about our history.
Compiled by Rovers supporter John Coyle, the history section details the club’s top goalscorers, record holders, and history makers. It also lists every international cap earned and every hat-trick scored while players were at Rovers.
As part of the history page, supporters will be able to read all about the current 12 legends who have been inducted into the Rovers Hall of Fame. This section will be updated regularly this season, with plans to include a further 14 club legends – one per decade – via a supporter vote.
The first supporter vote for the Hall of Fame will launch on July 22 on the club’s website and will give supporters chance to choose between the club’s four standout names from the 1880s.
