Doncaster Rovers are set to host their annual Open Day at the Keepmoat Stadium, Friday July 26, with a host of exciting activities laid on by the club.

Gates will open at the Club Doncaster Family Stand entrance from 10.00am and fans will able to enjoy the entertainment laid on, with White Post Farm hosting a petting zoo, Donny Dog’s Kennel open for business and sporting activities laid on by Foundation coaching staff.

There will also be a nine-hole mini golf course inside the stand, alongside a penalty shoot-out and basketball game. Dons players Kieran Cross, Jason Tali and Watson Boas will be in attendance alongside Doncaster Rovers Belles star Sophie Scargill and a number of her teammates, to meet and greet supporters and help with football and rugby skills game challenges.

Superhero’s Spiderman and Wonderwomen will also be in attendance alongside snooker legend Nigel Bond, who will be available to challenge on the pool table.

At around 10.30am the first-team squad will be training on the main pitch, allowing fans the chance to see what goes on behind the scenes during Darren Moore’s training sessions.

During the session junior fans will have the chance to test themselves against the first-team, taking part in session with Rob Lee and James Walsh who will be laying on height jumps and sprint tests.

Junior Fans who have signed up prior to the event will then get the opportunity to train with the first team squad, playing on the pitch alongside their heroes, after a team talk from the coaching staff.

The first team will then take part in a signing session in front of the South Stand, before a ‘big team picture’ with all supporters and participants who attend the day.

The Family Stand concourse will be open for fans to purchase refreshments throughout the day, however fans are reminded that with the upturn in weather it is important to bring sun cream as a precaution.

Spaces for the Junior Members training session are now fully booked, however supporters can book on to a waiting list by clicking here and will be informed on the day if spaces become available.
