Rovers are set to take delivery of a number of special edition bespoke sofas ahead of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season.

Yorkshire based KC Sofas will provide a number of Rovers branded sofas and chairs for Donny Dog’s Kennel to aid the club's already strong family experience, with others situated in the reception zones of the Keepmoat Stadium.

KC Sofas will also raffle off a Rovers special edition two-seater sofa signed by the first team squad, with all proceeds going to charity. Details of this will be released in due course and further information will be sent to supporters over the coming weeks.

With four stores around Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region, KC Sofas are one of the largest independent dealers in the north and owner Jamie Charnock is a devoted Rovers supporter who was keen to be involved with his local club.

Marketing assistant Michael Burton said: “It’s great to be able to work with local companies who have a passion for helping the football club, and Club Doncaster as a whole. Jamie is a massive Rovers supporter and the amount of sofas he has kindly donated to the club is fantastic.

“It will enhance our family experience in the Club Doncaster Foundation Family Stand with much more comfortable seating areas in the Kennel. We also expect that supporters will jump aboard the charity raffle for a special edition signed Rovers sofa, it will certainly be unique and a must have for any fan.”

Jamie, of KC Sofas, saidd: "We were approached by Doncaster Rovers to produce them some new sofas for Donny Dog's Kennel and their reception area. Being the owner of KC Sofas, and a lifelong fan of the club, I jumped at the opportunity.

“It’s a great honour to be working with Doncaster Rovers and to also be a part of a event to raise as much money as possible for the chosen charity."

Rovers fans will get to see the sofas first hand at the 2019 Open Day held at the Keepmoat Stadium, Friday July 26 from 10am to 2pm.
