5 July 2019

The 2019 Doncaster Rovers Open Day will see Junior Members given the chance to train like a Rovers first-team players for the day.

During the open training session that the first team squad will go through from 10am on the main pitch at the Keepmoat Stadium, head of sports science Rob Lee and first-team sports science coach James Walsh will take testing sessions for Junior Members to take part in.

Both coaches will run sessions involving height jumps, sprint tests and a host of others that the first-team players have under taken this summer, to give Junior Members the full first-team experience.

Prizes will be on offer for any fan who can get close to the best numbers recorded by the players last week, upon their return for the 2019/20 season.

Following the training session, Junior Members will then be coached in small groups by members of the first-team squad and coaches from the Club Doncaster Foundation, following on from a team talk in the main dressing room from the coaching staff.

To be a part of this year’s ‘Train with the first team’ Junior Members must sign up prior to the event, and can do so by clicking here.
