Rovers will face Grimsby Town at Blundell Park in the first round of the 2019/20 Carabao Cup.
Round one ties will be played the week commencing August 12 with further match information and ticket details to be released in due course.
Rovers travelled to local rivals Scunthorpe United in the 2018/19 Carabao Cup first round and defeated the Iron 2-1 to progress to the second stage of the competition.
