Danny Amos feels like he enters the 2019/20 campaign a more mature person and footballer.
The left-back spent half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Hartlepool United gaining more experience in a first-team environment.
He said: “I developed massively from the loan at Hartlepool, it has helped me because I got a few games and got what I wanted out of it.
“I had to make my own way up to Hartlepool everyday, it was a big task for me which helped me mature and take on more responsibility.”
As well as playing for Pools, Amos featured nine times for Rovers and earned himself a call-up to Northern Ireland’s U21 team.
He added: “Getting the call-up to Northern Ireland was really good for me and it was a good way to end this season for me personally.
“When I get back the club will see how hard I’ve been working because it doesn’t go unnoticed if you’re putting the effort in and staying behind after training.”
