Rovers will open the 2019/20 season by hosting Gillingham at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday August 3.
Rovers will also host Fleetwood Town and Lincoln City in the opening month of the Sky Bet
League One campaign, with trips to Rochdale and Bolton Wanderers as well as a first round Carabao Cup game in a busy August.
The festive period sees a trip to Peterborough United on Boxing Day followed by the visit of Sunderland on Sunday December 29. New Year's Day sees a home game against Oxford United.
Good Friday will see Rovers make the short trip to Sincil Bank to face Lincoln City, before hosting Bury on Easter Monday.
Those games will kick-off a run-in to the season that includes a trip to South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United on Saturday April 18, before hosting Ipswich Town the following Saturday and a trip to Blackpool on Sunday May 3 for the final league game of the campaign.
