Rovers players Matty Blair and Cody Prior helped teams from the Doncaster and District Junior Sunday Football League celebrate their success this season at their presentation evening held at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The pair gave up their time to hand over medals and trophies to local teams who had won titles during the autumn leagues.
And for Prior there was a chance to reminisce about his time playing in the DDJSFL by handing over medals and a league trophy to his former club Scawthorpe Scorpions days after he had earned a contract extension at Rovers.
Blair, who was named PFA League One Community Player of the Year at the 2018 EFL Awards, said: “It was brilliant to be able to hand over these medals and trophies, and even better I could do it alongside Cody who last came to these presentation evenings when he was still a player for Scawthorpe Scorpions.
“The kids were brilliant, I enjoyed getting to hang out with them and play a few games before the presentations itself kicked off.”
