Doncaster Rovers and Official Partner John Hill Associates worked together to create a competition inviting youngsters in Doncaster to design their perfect stadium.
Every home matchday in February, children were busy in Donny Dog’s kennel creating colourful designs for the chance to win a signed Rovers shirt and two tickets to the clash against Barnsley.
John Hill Associates managing director, Allan Hair, chose six-year-old Wojciech Chudy’s effort as the winner for his unique take on the classic Doncaster Rovers stadium, and he was invited to the ground to receive his prize.
Allan said: “I’m so pleased with the amount of entries, there were some fantastic efforts and it made my life very difficult having to pick the winner!
“We have been associated with the club for many years now, and were one of the first to join the Official Partnership programme. Our relationship grows from strength to strength and this competition is a fantastic way to showcase that.
“Utilising some of our partnership benefits to create something like this has made us very proud and I hope our winner, Wojciech loves his signed shirt and has a great day at the Barnsley fixture!”
There to present Wojciech with his signed shirt and two tickets to Rovers vs Barnsley was head of commercial, Jon Warburton.
He said: “It was a fantastic idea for John Hill Associates to put their signed shirt and some stand tickets they get as part of their package to good use in this competition, it’s a fantastic way to engage with new audiences and it was great to see so many children enjoying taking part.”
