Peter Wright is the man in charge when Rovers travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool on Tuesday.

2018/19 is Wright’s first campaign in the EFL after earning a place on the National List of Referees following two successful seasons in the National League.

His first EFL match was a 3-1 victory for Stevenage over Sky Bet League Two rivals Crawley Town in August 2018. Since then he has overseen 29 matches in total and remarkably two of these have ended 6-0.

Tuesday will be the seventh time Wright has taken charge of a Sky Bet League One match and the third time that he has been in-charge of a Rovers match. Both previous matches ended in defeat for Rovers, the first away at Accrington Stanley, the second away at Fleetwood Town.

Wright has been involved in one further Rovers’ game when he acted as fourth official in a Carabao Cup first round victory over Scunthorpe United.

Wright has awarded 87 yellow cards and six reds so far. He will be assisted by Matthew Parry and Steven Rushton. Billy Smallwood is the fourth official.

You can now secure your seat for the 2019/20 season by purchasing a Silver Membership at the early bird rate of just £299 until Monday April 1 from the Club Doncaster Box Office on 01302 762576, or via
