Wear your red nose on Friday and Rovers will donate £1 to Comic Relief

15 March 2019

Rovers and Barnsley supporters are invited to take part in a huge Red Nose Day photo at the Keepmoat Stadium!

At 7.40pm on March 15, Doncaster Rovers will be taking a photo of the stadium to capture everyone wearing their red noses. For every Red Nose worn at the ground, Doncaster Rovers will donate £1 to Comic Relief.

With an expected crowd of 10,000 at the Keepmoat Stadium, Rovers could be donating £10,000 to Comic Relief. That kind of money could make a massive difference to someone in need by funding 1,000 mentoring sessions for homeless people in the UK, 200 bicycles for Community Health workers to travel quickly to critical situations in Ghana, or provide mental health first aid training for 50 teachers in the UK.

Grant McCann said: "The Red Nose initiative is another great idea from the football club, the club are always doing things to bring the community together and it’s another brilliant plan from them and hopefully everyone can bring their red noses to the game."

Andy Butler added: "I think it's brilliant what Doncaster Rovers have done with the red nose appeal, giving £1 for every fan that comes to the game in a nose - I'll be bringing four or five red noses!"
