Matty Blair said Rovers are not just there to make up the numbers at Friday’s Sky Bet League One play-off second leg.
The wide man scored in the 87th minute to give Rovers hope as they travel to The Valley to face Charlton Athletic.
Blair said: “People weren’t expecting us to get to the play-offs but we’re not just here to make up the numbers.
“Charlton Athletic are a very good team – they didn’t finish where they did in the league for no reason. They’re very good on the ball, they press well, and we know that because he had to deal with all of that on Sunday.
"If we play like we did in the second half of the first leg but add a bit more quality in the final third then I think we’ll give them a good game. We believe we can beat anyone on our day.
“We’ve got nothing to fear. It’s a game I’m really excited for, I’m really looking forward to and we’ll give it a real go.”
